Omega-3 (EPA and DHA) helps to maintain the normal function of the heart. Positive health effects are achieved by daily intake of minimum 250 mg EPA and 250 mg DHA.
In addition, omega-3 (DHA) contributes to maintaining the normal function of the brain and vision. Positive health effects are achieved by daily intake of minimum 250 mg DHA.
The Norwegian Department of Health recommends eating three fish meals a week, of which at least 200 grams should be fatty fish such as salmon, trout, mackerel or herring.
If you do not eat fatty fish or don’t eat enough fatty fish, the Norwegian Department of Health recommends a daily supplement of omega-3 from fish oil.
